The general purpose of the Civil Service Commission is to establish a merit system of employment for County deputy sheriffs and other employees of the office of county sheriff, thereby raising the standards and efficiency of such offices and law enforcement in general in accordance with RCW41.14.010

Civil Service Commission meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of every month, at 2:30pm in the Commissioners' Meeting Room located in the Franklin County Courthouse.
